A very sacred and inspiring religious program was organized at Karni School with the aim of instilling culture, tradition and spirituality in the children along with education. ‘Story and worship of Lord Satyanarayan’ was beautifully organized by Shri Jagadish Chandra Bariya in the school premises, in which the students, teachers and leaders of the school participated with great enthusiasm.
Spiritual atmosphere and worship ritual
The program began with chanting of mantras and Ganesh Puja in the morning. Jagadish Chandra Bariya performed the worship of Lord Satyanarayan with scriptural rituals and complete devotion. During the story, the fragrance of incense, lamps and flowers spread throughout the school premises.
The devotees chanted “Shri Satyanarayan Dev Ki Jai” with all their heart, which made the atmosphere completely spiritual and devotional.
Teaching of Truth and Good Conduct
While reciting the scriptural story, Jagadish Chandra Bariya narrated all the five chapters of Satyanarayan Katha in a very simple and interesting style. He said that Satyanarayan Katha is not just a religious ritual, but gives a message to adopt ‘truth’ and ‘good conduct’ in life.
Importance of Truth: No matter what difficult situation arises in life, one should not leave the path of truth.
Devotion and dedication: God is pleased only with devotion done with sincerity and true heart, not with wealth or pomp.
Resolution and keeping promises: One learns to fulfill the resolution given through the story and to have compassion for each other in the society.
From the lectern, he specifically addressed the students and said that if qualities like truth, honesty and respect for elders are developed from childhood, one can become a better citizen in the future.
Active participation of the school family
The principal, teachers and students of Karni School participated with great enthusiasm in this religious occasion. After the puja, aarti was performed, in which everyone was absorbed and bowed their heads at the feet of the Lord. After the aarti, Mahaprasad (head and fruit) was distributed among all those present.
In today’s modern and hectic era, organizing such religious and cultural programs at the school level is very necessary. This Satyanarayana story organized by Jagdish Chandra Bariya at Karni School has been successful in sowing the seeds of spirituality in childhood. The school family expressed heartfelt gratitude to Jagdish Chandra Bariya for this successful organization.
