New Delhi, October 6: Rise Against Hunger India, in association with The Good Sight Webzine & Podcast, will organise the second edition of Push For Poshan – A Collective Movement for Nutrition on October 10, 2026, at the India International Centre, New Delhi.
The summit will bring together experts and practitioners from nutrition, public health, development, academia, civil society and grassroots organisations to discuss some of the key challenges shaping India’s nutrition landscape and explore practical approaches for stronger collective action.
The Guest of Honour at the summit will be Padma Shri awardee Dr Chandrakant S. Pandav, a leading public health expert widely known as the “Iodine Man of India” for his pioneering contribution to the prevention and control of iodine deficiency disorders and public health nutrition.
The discussions at Push For Poshan 2.0 will broadly focus on three themes: nutrition, health and well-being across the life course; food diversity, food systems and sustainability; and building food-smart and healthier generations.
The summit will also feature a special segment recognising grassroots NGOs and social workers working to improve nutrition and well-being in underserved communities.
The first edition of Push For Poshan brought together experts and practitioners from public health, nutrition, development, academia, civil society and other sectors for conversations around India’s nutrition challenges and the need for greater collaboration and convergence. The second edition builds on that platform, with a focus on moving from dialogue towards practical solutions and collective action.
