Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 opened for pre-orders in India today, priced from Rs 1,79,999 for the base 12GB+256GB variant, following its unveiling at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22.
Higher configurations are priced at Rs 1,99,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant and Rs 2,39,999 for the 16GB+1TB variant. Open sales begin August 8.
The phone features a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits peak brightness, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
It carries a dual 50MP rear camera system, including a wide-angle lens with OIS and 2x optical quality zoom, alongside a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
The Z Fold8 packs a 4,800mAh battery, supporting up to 63 per cent charge in around 30 minutes over 45W wired charging, plus 20W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare.
At 201 grams, it is Samsung’s lightest Z Fold model to date. Buyers can avail an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 or an instant bank discount of Rs 9,000.
