OnePlus has confirmed that its N6x smartphone will launch in India on July 31 at 12 pm IST.
Sales will begin a few days later, on August 4, through Amazon India and OnePlus India’s official online store.
The company has confirmed a 7,000mAh battery for the device, claiming it can deliver up to 2.5 days of battery life on a single charge.
OnePlus has cited specific usage figures for the battery, including up to 20.56 hours of video playback and 133.56 hours of music playback on a full charge.
The N6x will also come with a set of AI-powered camera tools, including AI Portrait Glow, which brightens faces in low-light portrait shots, AI Eraser, which removes unwanted people or objects from images, and AI Unblur, which sharpens blurry photos.
The phone features a flat display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, intended to make scrolling, gaming and animations appear smoother.
It will be available in two colour options, Burgundy Red and Ice Blue, the company has confirmed.
Official pricing has not yet been announced and is expected to be revealed at the July 31 launch event.
The N6x is expected to be the second device in OnePlus’s budget-focused N series, following the OnePlus N6, and is likely to be positioned at a similar or slightly lower price point once official pricing is announced.
OnePlus has been steadily expanding its lower-priced N series in India over the past year, aiming to offer flagship-adjacent features such as large batteries and AI camera tools at more affordable price points.
The company has not yet detailed the chipset or RAM and storage configurations for the N6x, with further specifications expected to be confirmed at the July 31 launch event.
Alongside the phone, OnePlus is expected to detail exchange offers and bank discounts at the launch event, a practice the company has followed for previous N series launches in India.
